Grace Hospice of Texas, a Christian hospice, was founded by Romeo Villarreal, RN and Kim Thibodeaux Villarreal, RN in Oct. 2003.
The growth of our company is due to the experience and care of our Medical Director, Nurses, Hospice Aides, Chaplains, Social Workers, and Volunteers. For our service providers, hospice care is not just a job, it is their ministry.
Our care is from a servant’s heart.
We also believe that God has a sense of humor. Romeo began his nursing career as a Pediatric ICU nurse and Kim began hers as a Neonatal ICU nurse. God called them to take care of His children as they entered the world and now He has called them to take care of His children as they prepare to return home to Him.
Grace Hospice of Texas remains locally owned and is certified by Medicare and Medicaid.
We provide in-home patient care in the Greater Houston area and the contiguous counties.
Our Medical Director is Dr. Elizabeth Coon-Nguyen, whose practice is located in Kingwood, TX.

Our logo symbolizes the Grace bestowed on us by God through the sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. At Grace Hospice, we strive to serve as the hands of God as He prepares His children for their journey Home.
“For it is by Grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” – Ephesians 2:8
